1. When Can I Get A Tuberculosis (TB) Skin Test Appointment?

• TB skin tests are placed on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 

• Please call us to make an appointment by dialing  (530) 225-5591.

2. How Much Is The TB Skin Test?

• The TB skin test fee is $17. 

3. When Do I  Come Back  For My TB Skin Test Reaction To Be Read?

• Office is closed for lunch during 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

• TB skin tests must be read 48 to 72 hours after placement.

• You must return to have your TB Skin Test read or it will need to be repeated at your own expense.

• There will be a fee for providing work/school clearance.

4. What If My TB Skin Test Is Positive?

• If the test is positive, you may need a chest x-ray (at your own expense). 

• There will be a fee for interpreting the x-ray and for providing work/school clearance.

5. Is There Another Alternative Besides The TB Skin Test?

• In some cases based on eligibility, there is an option to obtain a Tuberculosis Risk Assessment.
