What Is The Medical Marijuana Identification Program (MMIP)?

  • This voluntary program is available to people whose physicians have recommended the use of marijuana for one or more serious medical conditions.

Do I Need To Make An Appointment?

  •  Appointments are required.

  • Call us to make an appointment.

Who Is Eligibile?

  • Must be recommended by a valid physician; patient can designate a primary caregiver and apply for a caregiver identification card.

What Is The Application Process?

  •  Applicants must apply within their county of residence, have a valid physician's recommendation and complete the Medical Marijuana Application Directions & Application form.

  • All applicants (patient and primary caregiver) must be present during the application process.

  • All applicants must provide a government-issued photo identification (such as a driver's license) and show proof of residency.

What Are The Fees?

  • Non Medi-Cal or Medicare: $100 for patient and primary caregiver.

  • Medi-Cal: $50 for patient and primary caregiver.

  • CMSP: $0
