KRCR: Heated Spaces available throughout Shasta County during cold, stormy weather
SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. — Multiple "heated spaces" are available throughout Shasta County as the area is experiencing cold, stormy weather.
Officials with the Shasta County Health & Human Services Agency (HHSA) say everyone can stay warm at the locations during business hours.
Heated spaces will be available at the following locations:
Anderson Library
3200 West Center St., Anderson
Tues. through Fri., 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sat., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Burney Library
37116 Main St., Burney
Tues. through Fri., 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and then 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Cottonwood Library
3427 Main St., Cottonwood
Mon. through Tues., 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Wed., 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sat., 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Frontier Center (Seniors Only)
2081 Frontier Trl., Anderson
Mon. through Fri., 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Good News Rescue Mission
3100 S. Market St., Redding
Mon. through Sun., 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Redding Library
1100 Parkview Ave., Redding
Mon. through Thurs., 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Fri., and Sat., 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Sun., 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Shasta Lake Library (Hours may vary)

Tues., 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Wed., 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Fri., 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Officials said although these heated spaces are available, there are currently no Warming Centers in place.
