REPLACEMENT FOOD BENEFITS AVAILABLE FOR SHASTA COUNTY

SHASTA COUNTY – People who receive CalFresh and were in the affected zip codes during the Power Safety Shut-off (PSPS) on August 30 - 31 in Shasta County may be eligible to receive replacement benefits.
CalFresh recipients impacted may receive an automatic mass replacement benefit on their EBT cards for 25 percent of their August 2023 benefits. Recipients who have already received individual replacements will be excluded from receiving mass replacement benefits.
CalFresh clients do not need to contact their local Health and Human Services Agency to receive this benefit. If you have questions, please contact the Customer Service Center at (877) 652-0731.
Affected Zip Codes: 96065, 96084 and 96047.
