EBT FOOD BENEFITS MUST BE RENEWED WITH RECERTIFICATION

SHASTA COUNTY – All Transitional Nutrition Benefit (TNB) program recipients will be notified about renewing their electronic benefit transfer (EBT) food benefits. The Transitional Nutrition Benefit recertification process will start November 2023. Recertification forms will be sent to recipients between October 2023 and September 2024 depending on their renewal month. TNB recertification packets must be completed in order to maintain EBT food benefits. If qualified, recipients may be recertified for an additional 12-months.
People can still apply for regular CalFresh at any time if there are changes in household or income.
