Gather your household hazardous and electronic waste and bring it to our collection event on Saturday, October 5, 2024.

Location: Black Butte Jr High School - 7948 Ponderosa Way, Shingletown

Time: 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM

Open ONLY to Shasta County households.

Items Accepted
Paint and Paint Products (Latex and Oil-Based), Motor Oil, Oil Filters, Antifreeze, Solvents, Cleaners, Pesticides, Fertilizers, Batteries (Incl. Car Batteries), Pool Chemicals, Sharps, Over-the-Counter Pharmaceuticals, Fluorescent Light Tubes and Bulbs, Propane and Fire Extinguisher Cylinders, Aerosol Cans, and other products with warning labels such as Keep out of the Reach of Children, Caution, Danger, toxic, and Flammable. Electronic waste, such as computers, TVs, Phones, Radios, Printers, etc., will also be accepted.

Trash, Yard Waste/Brush, Tires, Appliances (including microwaves, toaster ovens, etc.), Explosives, Ammunition, Radioactive Materials (Smoke Detectors), Bulky Items (couches, etc.), Biological Waste, or Business Waste

Limit 5 gallons or 50 pounds* of hazardous waste per vehicle. *Excludes e-waste
