About

The Shasta County Fire Department's mission is to stand ready to protect life, property and the environment utilizing our trained and equipped personnel. This includes structural and wild-land fire control, first response medical care, and assistance to other emergency service agencies.

We are a full-service fire department that serves both rural and urban areas throughout Shasta County. Our department is staffed by highly trained and experienced firefighters, paramedics, and other emergency responders who are committed to protecting the lives and property of our residents.

In addition to responding to emergencies, we also value and are actively involved in community outreach and education programs. Our goal is to promote fire safety and awareness throughout the county, and to work with our community partners to build a safer and more resilient Shasta County.
